If you go to the very southern end of Kaikoura along State Hwy 1, you’ll come across Māori Leap Cave.
This is an amazing limestone cave where you can see some great examples of stalactites and stalagmites.
To see inside the cave you’ll have to go on a guided tour, and these run hourly.
