Visit the Kaikoura Farmers Market

The Kaikoura Farmers Market is the place to go for fresh locally grown produce, with a special emphasis on sustainability and organic growing.

Free range products and artisan products are highlights of the markets, which are treasured by locals and vistors alike.

The market operates every Sunday between October and April and you can find local farmers, bakers and fisherpeople selling:

  • Vegetables
  • Fruit
  • Honey
  • Seafood
  • Wild game
  • Eggs
  • Nuts
  • Homemade Jams, Chutneys and Relish
  • Cakes and Cupcakes
  • Beer and Wine from local breweries and wineries

There are now more than 40 official farmer’s markets operating throughout New Zealand.

The Kaikoura Farmers Market has to be one of – if not THE – most well known and loved of them all.
